Circumcision

We offer newborn circumcisions performed safely and comfortably in our clinic using the Gomco method, which is preferred for its lower risk of complications and improved cosmetic outcome. If your baby did not receive a vitamin K injection at birth, the procedure can be scheduled anytime between 8 and 21 days of age. Circumcisions in our clinic are performed no later than 21 days old. For pain control, we use a local lidocaine injection and offer Sweet-Ease (sucrose solution) as an additional comfort measure. Parents are welcome to remain in the room during the procedure or step out if they prefer. The entire process takes approximately 15 minutes from start to finish.
