Meet the APC Family

travis bowen

Dr. Bowen grew up in North Little Rock Arkansas and has called NW Arkansas home for the last 9 years.

He graduated from Medical School at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in 2008; Successfully Completed both Internal Medicine AND Pediatric Residencies at UAMS and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

He then completed a one-year ER Fellowship with Emergency Medicine Physicians Group in Ft Smith before joining the group as a full partner. After 6 years of commuting back and forth to Ft Smith, he transitioned to the Northwest Medical Center system where he currently provides emergency care for multiple hospitals in NW Arkansas.  Travis is a board-certified Internist and is Board Eligible in both Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine.

After years of practicing in the corporate environment, Travis is excited to bring the Personal Relationship back to Health Care. He hopes to rekindle the idea that a person shouldn’t be treated like a number but as a neighbor and friend.

We are excited to get to know you and your family and help you not only reach your health goals but your life goals as well.

I'm an Arkansas Girl.

I was born in Ft. Smith, & raised in Greenwood.  After I graduated from Greenwood High School, I went to College at UA Ft. Smith in order to pursue a career in Nursing. I graduated from the Carolyn McKelvey Moore School of Nursing in 2012, & after graduation, I spent 2 years working in a local Emergency Department.

Recently, I decided to go back to school & become a Nurse Practitioner.

I attended the Postgraduate College of Nursing Program at the University of South Alabama.  In 2019, I graduated with my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in both Family Care & Adult Geriatric Acute Care, with a 4.0.

My Love for Healthcare has been a part of me for as long as I can remember, starting as early as '04 as a volunteer at St. Edwards Hospital.  I am Passionate about providing an impactful level of Care for my Patients & their Families; a Level they Deserve; that I would expect for my family; & a level that can truly inspire their lives.

I Look Forward to Meeting You!
